Left-handedness

It is estimated that 10% of the population is left-handed. “Cross-dominant” people can use different hands for different tasks. There is a smaller minority of people that are adept at using either hand for any task; they are called “ambidextrous.”

Historically, left-handedness has been discouraged and considered “wrong” or “evil.” Most left-handed people face discrimination on a daily basis as their culture is designed for the right-handed majority.

Right-handed men may avoid using their left hand for fear they may be labeled. (Though, it has been proven that many will eagerly use their left hand after a few beers.)

If you are left-handed, be proud. Combat the fear that exists by showing the world that left-handed people are just like everyone else.

Dumbing of America

Great spirits have always found violent opposition from mediocrities. The latter cannot understand it when a man does not thoughtlessly submit to hereditary prejudices but honestly and courageously uses his intelligence.

A growing list…

  • What’s up with the increased use of “Prolly”?   People, it’s “Probably”!!!
  • Please don’t compliment me on having come up with a good “ideal.”
  • If you used your turn signals as much as you use your cell I wouldn’t have to use my finger.
